Role Requirements

  • Execute integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns

  • We use Pardot and Salesforce so some knowledge of these would be great

  • Be able to demonstrate experience of running events

  • Experience in messaging to Fortune 1000 clients with high end solution offerings

  • Know how to work closely with a sales organisation

  • Ability to work independently 

  • Comfortable presenting to and engaging with end customers

  • Can demonstrate previous experience of launching products

  • Exposure to working in global organisations

  • Ability to work across geo cultures

  • Understanding of the complete sales process from awareness to revenue

  • Experience of working on Twitter, LinkedIn and other digital forms of outbound marketing

  • Extensive experience of demand generation in large corp client markets


Role Description

Reporting to our SVP Global Marketing, we are looking for a Director of Marketing to be based in our Mountain View office.   As our business is growing we need to expand our marketing team to help increase our demand generation activities.  We sell a very unique hardware platform and several software solutions.  The software is platform agnostic, so it runs on both our own hardware as well as other hardware platforms and it is the software that is leading our business into the Fortune 1000. You will most likely have worked in start up companies before, so you know what it means to get the work done yourself. You will also have worked in one or more of the larger software vendors so you know how to engage, communicate and message to senior buyers at Fortune 1000 target clients.  You’ve worked with sales many many times so you know how to support them without becoming their PA.  You are comfortable looking at the market – seeing an opportunity and making a recommendation to go after it.  Following on from there you are capable at outlining the message and campaign and then ultimately executing it with sales.

Of course, you understand the need to be measured in marketing so you know how to measure attribution and the impact of your work.
