<strong>News giant hails build by UK digital architect utilising MultiTouch tech

 </strong>
</p>

<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
Engage Production Ltd, UK specialists in interactive technologies for branded environments, has announced – in conjunction with SOCA and Jump Studios – the completion of two stunning installations for Bloomberg’s Headquarters in New York, incorporating MultiTouch Ltd’s MultiTaction technology. The installations consist of a sculptural piece known as The Scroll, and a touch screen table known as The Hub, which utilises a 55” MultiTaction Cell display. These dynamic installations capture the excitement of the Bloomberg brand and dynamically describe the many facets of their business.

</p><p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">

Designed by the Studio of Cinematic Architecture (SOCA) and Jump Studios, and realised by Engage, The Scroll is a digital information display delivering Bloomberg news and data in a compelling and unexpected way. The data surface appears to protrude from the wall on an array of colourful lights. These lights respond in real time to the changing colour of the content displayed on the surface. The Scroll screen surface was created using three LED back-lit LCD screens mounted vertically in portrait format.

</p><p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
The Hub is an interactive version of The Scroll. It offers a stream of information about Bloomberg, but on an interactive, multitouch table – a 55” MultiTaction Cell display manufactured by MultiTouch Ltd. Accessible from all sides, the MultiTaction Cell processes an unlimited number of concurrent touches so that any number of users around the table can operate it. The device runs MultiTouch’s latest Hybrid Tacking firmware, which repels ambient light which can cause interference.

</p><p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
 “The Scroll is a colourful and playful piece of digital furniture,” comments Steve Blyth, managing director of Engage. “It gives the impression that a piece of wall has actually come bursting out under the pressure of all the news being produced by Bloomberg. For anyone passing through the lobby, it’s a real head-turner, as is The Hub which allows visitors to interact with their environment and underscores Bloomberg’s leadership in providing business and financial news and information.”
</p>

<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">

Los Angeles, CA – June 13, 2013 – MultiTouch Ltd., world leader in interactive display systems and USC School of Cinematic Arts (SCA), today announced the unveiling of the largest university interactive display installation in North America. The installation, which covers six alcoves in the lobby of the new SCA Interactive Media Building, is comprised of 18 MultiTaction 55” Ultra-Thin Bezel displays and creates a visually engaging and interactive experience for visitors. The unveiling was part of the official debut of the new building, which also featured a panel discussion by George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Microsoft’s Don Mattrick on the future of entertainment.

</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
The USC School of Cinematic Arts installation runs six different interactive applications showcasing projects from its students. MultiTouch installations include rich features including the use of IR pens for annotation, email integration for users to provide feedback to the students, and MultiTaction Codice™ technology which identifies the annotators interacting with the displays.
</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
“At the USC School of Cinematic Arts we are keenly aware that we are preparing the young women and men who will be the future innovators of our industry, and part of that preparation is making sure they have access to the best technology available,” said the school’s dean Elizabeth M. Daley. “MultiTouch’s technology allows our students to fully realize their creative vision, especially with regard to interactive features. We couldn’t be more pleased to have MultiTouch as an educational partner.”
</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
“MultiTouch is excited to be part of this magnificent installation,” said Timo Korpela, general manager of MultiTouch. “We continue to demonstrate that MultiTaction displays are the most sophisticated and versatile interactive system in the market. The USC School of Cinematic Arts wonderfully leverages all the latest and greatest features that we have implemented in this system, including user identification, annotation and full Internet and social media connectivity.”
</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
The MultiTouch displays are both a showcase of students&#8217; work as well as a place for students to develop new, cutting-edge, interactive software and entertainment.  Though the displays are installed in the lobby of the new Interactive Media Building, the space also serves as a classroom and laboratory for teaching and experimenting with the latest display technology.  SCA faculty and students have adapted research projects to use the capabilities of the MultiTouch technology.  Some of the applications configured for MultiTouch include an art piece by associate research professor Perry Hoberman, an interactive time-lapse project on the construction of the building by Andreas Kratky, and the &#8220;PUCK&#8221; project by Jen Stein, which shows users their resource usage in the building.

</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
MultiTouch will showcase its MultiTaction displays, and turn-key interactive systems at InfoComm 2013, taking place in Orlando, Florida, June 12-14 at booth #4781. The same displays and applications used at the USC School of Cinematic Arts will be available for live demonstrations along with other MultiTouch proprietary leading-edge interactive technologies such as Enriched Reality™ which allows MultiTaction displays to react to the presence of real life objects.
</p>

<strong>Company provides support for system conversions from SUR40 to MultiTaction® Displays

 </strong>
</p>

<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">

New York, NY – June 12, 2013 – MultiTouch Ltd, a world leader in interactive display systems, announces that it has released a ‘Migration Guide for SUR40/Pixelsense Users to MultiTaction’ at InfoComm 2013 taking place in Orlando, Florida, at booth number 4781. The company will feature live demonstrations of existing native SUR40 applications that can run on MultiTaction Cell displays as well as step-by-step guide for developers and integrators to optimize their applications for the new platform.
</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
The Migration Guide for SUR40/Pixelsense Users to MultiTaction is a comprehensive documentation for software developers with applications already launched on SUR40 displays. The guide addresses a number of issues varying from total protection of external lighting conditions to the use of real-life objects and optical markers on MultiTaction Cells.
</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
“MultiTouch displays have supported Windows Touch and other applications created with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) since 2010. We developed this formal guide to help explain what running these two platforms together or switching to MultiTaction means to SUR40 clients and developers,” said Timo Korpela, general manager at MultiTouch. “I’m sure a lot of people are happy to see the need for a canopy eliminated, and this guide will comprehensively tackle all aspects of both the physical installation and application development.”
</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
MultiTaction Cells and SUR40 are the only interactive displays in the market that support the use of optical markers and real-life objects to deliver content and interaction with the displays. “Porting the current applications to MultiTaction, as far as optical markers and blob tracking are concerned, is quite trivial to application developers,” said Hannu Anttila, vice president of business development at MultiTouch. “MultiTouch has long been a big proponent of industry standards; using the TUIO interface to deliver optical marker information to applications is well documented and established in the industry.”
</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
“Our goal is to make the migration from SUR40 to MultiTaction as easy as possible for the hundreds of application developers out there,” said Petri Martikainen, CEO of MultiTouch. “We are quite confident that the feature set that we offer on the MultiTaction platform will be very well received by developers and integrators and we want to provide them with the necessary tools to do business on our platform. We also hope that existing SUR40 resellers will add MultiTaction displays to their portfolio and offer MultiTouch’s industry leading solutions to their clients.”
</p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color:#000000;">
MultiTouch will showcase the Migration Guide for SUR40/Pixelsense Users to MultiTaction at InfoComm 2013 in Orlando, Florida on June 12-14 at booth number 4781. Migration Guide is also available for download from www.multitaction.com
